![]() ![]() ![]() There isn't also any "blobbing" gameplay in MoW:AS2, you better spread your infrantry to prevent enemy getting through your frontline and stacked infrantry is just easy target. ![]() You need to protect you tanks and support them with infrantry to prevent crouching AT infrantry getting near. However, medium tanks can be steamrolled bu heavier tanks, but a medium tank can also take out a heavier tank by flanking it and even the cheapest infrantry units in the game have ability to take out even the heaviest tanks with AT grenades. You win the wars with infrantry, which are able to capture and hold points, but infrantry can be slaughtered easily with AA tanks aka "infrantry killers" that are countered with medium tanks. However one of the greatest deatures in MoW:AS2 is its balance between tanks and infrantry: You still have all the basic fortifications, like sandbags, mines and tank traps. However, the MoW:AS2 lacks basebuilding features, like building a buildings that produce units. That is something that people like to claim simply because there is DLC that you can buy and which affects multiplayer. I like it's more realistic features, like the penetration mechanic, ablity to control singlesoldier, having inventory with every unit, ability to direct control units and all the other great features of the MoW series. Gameplay and balance-wise CoH2 is superior to CoH1 although CoH1 has some really nice features/gameplay mechanics that CoH2 is unfortunately lacking. ![]()
